On September 19, at the 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, Mr. Su, brand manager of TAIMUMOTO, was interviewed and shared the company’s practical exploration of working with a youth new media team to use digital communication to break through the difficulties of Chinese motorcycles going global.

China’s motorcycle manufacturing capability has made considerable progress, with the entire chain of R&D, production, and quality control fully connected, but the road to going global has not been smooth. Traditional overseas communication relies on advertising placements and offline exhibitions, which are costly, and the content is prone to cultural “acclimatization” issues, making it difficult to reach the Gen Z overseas rider community.
Mr. Su said that youth communication groups have unique advantages: they understand the rules of overseas social platforms, are familiar with young people’s language, and can produce content that overseas users enjoy, such as riding vlogs and modification tests. The youth team no longer simply does advertising output, but instead focuses on cross-cultural content creation, filling the blind spots of traditional foreign trade communication.

In his view, Chinese manufacturing going global is no longer just about products going out; it is even more important to make brand stories go out. He looks forward to more young talent taking root in the field of overseas communication, combining digital skills with physical manufacturing, building bridges for communication between China and other countries, and helping more Chinese motorcycle brands gain a firm foothold in the global market.
