Chongqing News | Many overseas off-road track entrepreneurs have the idea of building their own motorcycle brand, but worry that big OEM factories have high thresholds and low R&D cooperation, and that the project will be difficult to implement. TAIMU MOTO, rooted in the Dazu High-tech Zone of Chongqing, gives a clear answer: relying on a mature OEM and ODM flexible manufacturing system, it is feasible for overseas customers to build their own off-road motorcycle brand from scratch, and there is a low-risk trial-and-error path.

TAIMU MOTO holds formal complete-vehicle production qualifications, with its own frame welding, power assembly, and electronic control tuning lines and an independent testing laboratory. The factory is open for on-site inspections, and production footage, incoming material inspection records, third-party quality inspection reports, and compliance documents for various countries can all be delivered as a package. It has dual-line layouts for fuel and electric off-road models. Unlike leading big factories that only take large orders and offer fixed development plans, TAIMU’s modular R&D platform supports two cooperation paths: basic white-label OEM for a quick start, or in-depth ODM joint development of exclusive models. Small-batch prototype trial production and mixed-container trial orders are both accepted.

This flexible cooperation model stems from the industry experience of the brand’s founding team. They have seen many overseas niche riding entrepreneurs who, with the idea of building distinctive models, are shut out by big factories’ high development fees and high minimum order quantities, and can only sell homogenized public-mold models. Therefore, since the factory was established, TAIMU has made supporting small and medium-sized private-label brands part of its business direction, and is willing to get involved early in product definition and tuning of power and frame parameters to suit target market regulations and local rider habits.

To date, TAIMU has helped several local off-road brands in Europe and Latin America complete the journey from prototype validation to mass-market launch. Many customers start with trial orders of a few units and then expand production after market feedback is positive. One overseas private-label brand owner commented: “OEM at many factories is just changing decals, and it’s hard to get them to cooperate on in-depth development. TAIMU is willing to polish models together with us, and the small-batch development plan is controllable, which takes a lot of pressure off a new brand’s start.”

TAIMU MOTO states that building a private-label brand is not simply sticking on a label; certification, quality control, and spare parts supply must be handled in tandem. The brand will continue to leverage its flexible R&D advantages to provide overseas entrepreneurs with a stable and reliable OEM development cooperation channel, helping more distinctive off-road brands reach the market.
